Why was I charged twice?

A second charge almost always indicates you selected an add-on as well as the base subscription—examples include:

• A one-time personalized book list tailored to your interests.
• An additional premium subscription for access to audiobooks and e-books.

Both items are clearly listed on the checkout page and in your email receipts. We never bill for products you did not choose. If the charges look unfamiliar, contact us and our fraud-prevention team will investigate right away.
